About Emily

Emily Moak is the founder of Rowan HR & Coaching, a fractional HR consultancy helping mid-sized organizations and nonprofits build the people systems, structure, and clarity they need to grow with confidence.

With more than a decade of HR leadership experience, Emily has guided organizations through the full spectrum of people challenges: managing teams, supporting career transitions, and driving professional development and promotions that help individuals reach the next level in their careers. Her approach is grounded in the belief that when people are clear on where they are going and equipped to get there, organizations thrive.

At PeopleFirst Leadership Partners, Emily brings that same philosophy to her career coaching work, helping professionals navigate transitions, identify their strengths, and build intentional paths forward. She draws on deep experience coaching employees internally at all stages of their careers, and has served as a mentor in The 25, a competitive program dedicated to coaching high-performing female university students as they prepare to enter the working world.

Emily holds her SPHR certification and lives in Champlin, Minnesota, with her husband and two sons.
